The first step in your career as a PADI professional, this course will not only give you an instructor level knowledge of dive theory ranging from physics and equipment all the way to decompression theory, but it will hone your dive skills to those of an expert.
What will you learn?
The first level in PADI’s professional section, this course will teach you how to guide other certified divers, set up and run a dive site, assist PADI Instructors in teaching a full range of PADI courses, and independently conduct Discover Local Diving and Skin diver courses
Can guide certified divers, Teach Discover Local Diving and Skin Diver Courses, assist Instructor with other courses, and enroll in the PADI IDC.
This course can be completed in as little as 10 days but a longer timescale such as 2-3 months is recommended for you to gain more experience.
PADI Rescue Diver certification and Emergency First Response (within 2 years).
You will use all the basic scuba equipment, site-specific tools such as reels, makers, torches, line cutters, safety equipment such as O2 and first aid kits and more….
Giving dive and safety briefings, accounting techniques for divers in the water, master the basic 24 dive skills, get instructor level dive theory, and fine-tune your rescue abilities for demonstrating to students.
You will need to study independently as well as learning from an experienced PADI Instructor. You will have many opportunities to practice in real situations under the supervision of your mentor.
You won’t just learn to explore the dive site, you will learn to own the dive site.
Once qualified you will be a sought after diving professional with the ability to take your skills and work at some of the most desirable locations in the world.
