Every once in a while things just fall into place and a few days ago that’s exactly what happened…as the divers were heading to the first dive of the day at Apolima Corner we were treated to the sight of a blue whale and her calf just off the shores of Apolima. It is rare to get such a close encounter with these stunning creatures, they are the largest animals ever known to have lived on Earth. This was a momentous tick on the diving bucket list!
