Tavae Wreck
A haven for marine life
A purpose-sunk artificial reef, the Tavae is a Samoan tug, scuttled in 2013 to create a fantastic new dive site close to the island. 30 metres in length and 8 metres wide with the stern and it’s twin props down at 28 metres the Tavae is still in good condition yet already home to a variety of marine life. Penetration into the hold is possible for divers with experience.
